How payment works

Free trial (proof-of-work)

  1. Request a challenge from the product's /trial/challenge endpoint — no signup or account needed.
  2. Solve the proof-of-work locally, at your own pace, then claim your trial token via /trial/claim.
  3. Send your calls with the X-Trial-Token header — each product's card above lists its exact free-call budget.
  4. Once your trial budget is used, calls fall through to normal x402 payment automatically.

Pay-per-call (x402)

  1. Send a request to the product's endpoint — no signup required to start.
  2. Receive an HTTP 402 response with the exact USDC amount, address, and network required.
  3. Your x402-compatible client signs and attaches payment, then resends the request automatically.
  4. Receive your response — no subscription, no idle cost.
